We actually call our product "The Original Bug SHIRT".  There are two reasons for this.

"The Original" is because we were the first.  Prototyped in 1989, and on sale in 1991.  Almost all the other insect protective garments you find out there were derived from "The Original Bug Shirt" either directly or indirectly!

"Bug Shirt" is because we are trying to emphasise the fact that our protective clothing is designed to keep you COOL when the bugs are bad, and not warm as a jacket would.

Since the terms "bug jacket" and "bug coat" are out there, but we know that while you think you want a bug jacket or bug coat, what you really want is a "Bug Shirt", we set up this site to make it easier for you to find us, since we offer quite simply the best insect protective clothing on the market.
